Thanks for all the observations and suggestions on this topic folks. I conclude that if there is a thick greasy buildup (yuk) on top of the surface of the keystick sides, the razor blade would be the thing. If it's something not sitting on top, but ingrained into the surface, one of the liquid methods would be best. A conbination of both, for both!
