A working piano is a clean piano. That is not my experience. The recording studio pianos tend to be dusty, the teaching studios are full of eraser crumbs and broken off pieces of old music. Practice rooms are full of pencils, paper clips, M&M's, etc. These are all pianos that are used constantly and are far dirtier than the family Steinway in the living room that is never touched except at Christmas.
