[pianotech] grand dampers

I guess if the lack of spring tension or weight is the problem (once again what should that weight/tension be?) the repair could certainly work.   I was thinking of the next tech looking at Wim's set up and taking a picture and sending it to Pianotech with the words..."another tooner job".   But, what can you do?   Pull the entire damper system, add lead or springs?   Big job.  I can understand the reasoning of the screws...
