Well, that tears it. After all these  years, it turns out we 
should have been boiling those old Steinway parts  all along to 
avoid the verdigrief altogether.

The problem is that after boiling them all, and getting out the Osterizer  
and given 'em a good but maybe fake wippen, I can still hear false beats.
