Oh, and a release agent under the planks. I use the plastic 
coated butcher paper. It would be plenty strong with the 
planks glued on, but hard to regulate.

Good point. Not everyone has suitable clamps. Holes drilled 
after the alignment planks and clamps are in place, naturally.
