When asked, I will say tune once a year for the piano, twice a year for the player, and once a month for me! Usually gets a smile and will start a conversation that will reference location, use, age, etc all of which can be considered as to how often a piano "needs" to be tuned.

    Hi Jer,
I usually get excuses when I call, I'm in a meeting, or a voice mail. These folks knew that I'd be calling again. I'm tired of the excuses. I'm glad you guys out there are having better success at repeat tunings.

    Dude,

     Lighten up !

They can be reasons not excuses.Believe it or not piano tuning is way down the priority list for most people.

Do I wish everyone tuned their piano twice a year? Yes , but if you continue to provide prompt, courteous service and keep the clients best interest in mind the work will come.
