Oh, I see what you mean. In that case: Couldn't hoit, but 
really ain't necessary. The only times I do that, it's for 
control of the way the fold lies, when it's fighting me. About 
any soft valve leather will do, if you decide to put them back 
in. The sheepskin used on pump organ reed doors works great, 
and you may already have some of that.
