[pianotech] pianos bing sharp

HI Dave,

It varies. I've found one that was almost a half tone sharp. I've foudn most othes to be either right on or slightly above with don't require a second pass.  I don't nkow if it's weather related or the previous tech. I don't know him personally or how experienced e is.  I oftten find the last octave to be out the most.  I just wish I could tune faster so I ccan get these piaons finished. I'm getting behind schedule but I wasn't given much time to begin with. Hopefully I'll be like you guys who can crank out a tuning in an hour. I'm down to about an your and 45 minuts to 2 hours depending on the piano and if it needs keys repaired. For example i tuned this Wurlitzer schol piano last Friday which had a wippen/ack problem play the key it either didn't play or struck two notes hammers were secure wippens were not going side to side had bad jacks on several notes man that waa pain had to tune it by pushing up on the wippen or holding one hammer down so I couuld sound the neighbor,but we got it done.
