It is my plan to have some with me so that when I encounter a bench with winged nuts I can replace them. I can't seem to get the winged ones tight enough by hand. I checked two benches in my shop and both are different one was 1/4" and the other 3/8" so they can vary. It is best to bring a wing nut to the hardware store and get the right size hanger screw.
