[pianotech] hammer issue

Patrick and all,

Thanks. Spring strength is good. I strengthened the springs before the regulation began. The rise is still good. This was not a problem before I made the last adjustements mentioned. Have I just gone too far the other way perhaps? Aftertouch feels good but repetition now is compromised or defeated?

Steven

Steven: Check the springs. You have to have sufficient spring strength to get reliable repetition. You may have to clean the spring grooves as well as strengthen the strings.
