[pianotech] Decal

John, it's buzzing on the strings as it curls up from the soundboard.

Personnally, I've just tried to get the curled part out of the equation. Unfortunetly, when trying to remove it, it usually tears. So I then leave it there. I don't see how I could glue them back on below the strings.

I am having a hard time visualizing, how a curling decal, could have an effect, on hammer action?

Hello,

Here is my dilemma. A new client called me today and tells me that her 8 year old baby grand piano’s decal is curling and affecting the hammer action. It has been that way “for a while”.

What is the best way to reattach the decal? Would it be better to remove it completely and put a new one on?

Thank you for your advice.
