Re: [pianotech] regulation tool : too wideI sympathize with the frustration about the lack of space between letoff dowels. However, I am wondering if reducing the diameter of the dowel would lead to cracking after a number of years of use. This is an occasional problem on uprights, and it seems that thinning the dowel would only make the problem more likely. Patrick C.
