Hi David:

I would have to agree with David Andersen. I have followed the thread, and I was surprised to read that you felt others were being arrogant and condescending towards you. They were disagreeing with some of your ideas, and putting forth their reasons why they felt your conclusions were in error. But I did not detect any personal bias in that.

This is a forum where ideas are shared and debated. That almost guarantees that someone is going to disagree with you. But it is not personal. It's fun!

I've posted a few ideas on this forum and had some of them shot down. Not because of any animus towards me, but because my ideas were incompletely developed. Fair enough - I learned something new I didn't know before, so I'm still the winner at the end of the day. I'm all for the better idea, whether it's mine or someone else's.

I'm here to learn, and I try to leave my ego at the door. Be humble and respectful to others and they will be the same towards you. Your presence on the forum can then be a long and enjoyable one.

I say welcome. Relax and enjoy the give and take. Throw it back in. Move the dialog forward. Share your ideas and risk exposing your ignorance occasionally - otherwise you'll hold onto it forever. And you can also teach us in the process.

Respectfully,

Will Truitt

P. S. Merde, David? You are full of merde? Not of the ordinary, indeed!

Really? I think you're trippin', dude, really I do, with all respect. Please snip and show me some arrogance and scolding etcetera.

I'd like to get on the same page, and I will always humbly apologize if I am found to be full of merde. Please show me who disrespected you by quoting them.

Thanks,

David Andersen
