Schaefer & Sons podal rod

I've done this repair on a YC U107A. The aluminum tube has an inside
diameter that snugly fits a dowel... I'd think 5/16" or 3/8", but I failed
to record that info. Anyhow, that way you can preserve the interior
appearance of the piano (where many owners don't even know they can easily
look) and avoid the possibility of the tube/rod bending/kinking (as long as
you don't do that while you're sliding it over the dowel!!)
