Folks,
Yesterday was real interesting for me. From the sublime to the rediculous.

First piano a monster 9' Baldwin SD # 229797 ( made 1978)
Spent the next three hours in heaven tuning and taking notes for an
apprasial.

The last a Hallet and Davis spinnette PSO that some poor child will probibly
have for a home learning instrument.
Plays fine now but sounds SSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO bad.

Can any one out there give me an idea of low and high on the Monster
Baldwin?
Or where to get such info?
Sustain on this ( not a baby <G> ) is unreal. compaired to what I usually
work on.a good 20 seconds in the bass to 10 in the K octave. Does need
voicing and regulation. Otherwise a solid solid piano. At one time was a
touring concert piano..
