Richard It's not the casters, nor the cups in which they sit. Look at the legs on this grand. They are thin, compared to larger grandsl. The pianist is a heavy player. The legs are not designed to take that kind of abuse. Short of removing the legs and installing 8 x 8 stumps, all she can hope for is that the legs don't snap off while she's playing. It has its original casters-tiny, in large round caster cups, sitting on a carpet-covered V made of 1x6.? The legs were firmly attached, no opportunity for tightening.? Is this characteristic, and something she must live with, or can something be done?? I tried adjusting the footprint of the legs in the cups and on the carpeted surface (reluctant to do much), and it didn't change anything. ?
