Rik, DMT makes "Duo Sharp" stones which, by purchasing two stones, you get four different abrasive grades: the W250CXNB has extra course on one side and course on the flip side and the W250EFNB has fine on one side and extra fine on the other. Along with the Veritas Honing Guide, they cover most of my tune up needs. Putting on a new edge becomes a different story . . .
