Piano on the Titanic.

I found a newsgroup called "the Encyclopedia Titanica" which has a 
couple of threads concerning pianos on board. I couldn't find anything 
about makers of the grand piano. Someone said that the ship had 
furnishings from the continent as well as the UK and it's entirely 
conceivable that it had a Hamburg Steinway or possibly an Erard, 
although I'd put my money on Broadwood.

It seems pretty certain, though, that there were some English birdcages 
that went to the bottom that fateful day. :-)
