That is correct Grasshopper! - even if said unknowing tech has adjusted 
let-off to make said action play, eventually, you will not be able to 
remove the action. That's when you have a problem.

Seriously, it's best to get a history of each YC you see from the 
client, and it sounds like you see a bunch of them. One minute of Q&A 
could amount to either some work (bracket replacement) and/or prevention 
and awareness.
