One of the ways, that I 'sell', an action tape replacement, is by 
demonstrating, the faster return, of the one with the good tape.
You know, hold both hammers against the string, and let them go 
simultaneously, the one with the tape, will normally return, noticeably 
faster.
But I have been surprised on a couple of occasions, where it didn't.
