My experience is very similar and I might add that, while the vast majority see it as just another expense they don't need, it pays in many situations to do a little voicing and regulating spiel. You never know who might be interested and people are willing to spend their money on something that's worthwhile. If I had my druthers, customers would bring their pianos into a piano servicing shop and I could walk them over to a superbly prepared instrument and say to them, "I can make your piano sound and play as well as this one."
