Duaine, This is all well and good. I wish that all software were open. Sadly, it';s not, but even if it were I have a business to run. I just can't devote that much time to tinkering with software. I need something that works, works NOW, and will be stable for the future. Hopefully something I have complete access to so I can make alterations to my data on a more global scale etc. Again, sadly, it doesn't exist. best, Greg Newell At 01:22 AM 12/15/2005, you wrote: >Greg, et all, > >To my knowledge nothing has been written yet in the GPL license which is >what 99% of Linux code and apps are. > >The GPL license is General Public License, which means that when someone >writes an app for Linux - AND/OR - Windows, means that the source code >must be posted on the web somewhere. *The writer is in total control.* >But if you want to download and tweak it, you can.
