This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment I'll tell ya what I think in spite of your coercion! Fist of all, IMHO, most uprights, if they are deserving of a new = pinblock, also deserve a new soundboard - and hence the need to remove = the sides anyway (yes, I realize there will be cases where it may be = appropriate to not replace the soundboard). If the sides are indexed with a width jig and dowels prior to removal, = cut off rather than busted off, and replaced using those two jigs along = with the keybed and bottom board (and checked with the knee board and = upper front board - what the heck is that called?), everything aligns = quite well. I can easily imagine that it would be difficult to accurately reposition = an upright side that was broken off without being indexed.
