Vote third party, Libertarian or Constitution Party. Either one of these
your vote will count for something and both parties stand for dramatically
smaller government. Or if you are more left leaning, vote Green or
Socialist. But don't waste your vote on Bush or Kerry hoping something will
change in government. They are both so much alike you have to strain to see
any difference. What I found particularly troubling about the debates was
that virtually every charge one made against the other was true! Too often
the only response they had was, "Well, he's worse. Listen to what he did."

The real answer is for all of us to stop looking to government to feed us,
educate us, keep us healthy, provide our job security, etc. Do your children
get government money (that would be money stolen from your neighbors) to go
to school? Did you? Do your parents live off government checks? Are you
counting on government money in your retirement? Do you have a gun to
protect your family or do you count on the numbers 911 on your telephone? Do
you think 45% taxation is "legal"? BTW, I am personally guilty to one degree
or another of most of these questions. Most of us are. It is how we've been
indoctrinated- to think it is normal.

I like what Lew Rockwell wrote yesterday
(http://www.lewrockwell.com/rockwell/kerry-calamity.html ). Here is what he
wishes Bush supporters had the honesty to say:
It is true that (Bush) has expanded the budget at twice the rate of Clinton,
that he has created the largest and most powerful new federal bureaucracy
since the WW2, that he has imposed costly protectionist legislation, that he
keeps prisoners of war in violation of international law, that he lied about
Iraq, that he is personally responsible for the deaths of 1,100 US soldiers,
and 15,000+ Iraqi civilians, that his war has inspired terrorism around the
world, and that another four years of this can only mean more loss of
liberty and more bloodshed. And yet, I support his reelection for fear of
Kerry.

   sincerely
    Dale

Vote for Bush or Kerry (it really does not matter) and we'll get more of the
same: babies being slaughtered at the same rate, the empire expanding,
millions more hating us around the globe, the dollar value shrinking, taxes
raising, more meaningless Orange Alerts, more militarization of our local
police forces, increased seat belt enforcement, more people in prison for
non-violent drug offenses, mom and pop businesses vanishing, freedoms
disappearing, continued maintenance of nearly 700 military bases on foreign
soils where they don't want us, states becoming more anachronistic, schools
becoming more anti-Christian, courts more unaccountable, more power
consolidated in D.C, and the minutest detail of our lives regulated, from
window tint to seatbelts. In short, a vote for a Demican or a Repulicrat
will get us a bigger leviathan, more people willing to commit suicide
terrorists attacks against us, and less purchasing power for our wealth.
