Hi Hugo,

I was going to say the same thing as Terry. A pianist friend has an old 
Mason and Hamlin which has quite a few long hairline cracks in the 
soundboard, but the piano sounds nice and he's felt no need to have it 
replaced for over 20 years. Plus, a 20cm crack is not particularly big, 
assuming it's thin.
