Mutiple bouncing

The "bouncing" is caused by the butt hitting the jack rather than the
backcheck. So, the jack must have more clearance. Assuming key dip/blow
distance ratio is correct, a quickie might be to 1) check capstans for
proper lost motion 2) adjust backchecks to check sooner. You might need
to reduce the hammer blow distance.

Did you call Yamaha?
