---------------------- multipart/mixed attachment Paul, We had some low torque readings (under 100) with the I bit (.272), and six months ago switched to a two step drilling with 1/4"(.250) and 17/64"(.2656). Air cooled. No fluid. No complaints, almost two blocks a day. The two step method reduces the effects of inconsistent feed rates, and actually works out to about the same time. The bits are a little cheaper also, making us less likely to try and squeeze out just one more block from a tired bit. Attached is a nifty chart. It's from the nice folks at Century Drill. twagner@centurydrill.com later, Guy At 09:19 AM 7/22/2004 -0500, you wrote: >List members and pin block installers: > >What drill size do you like for a 2/0 pin when using Delignet for the block? > >Paul C > >_______________________________________________ >pianotech list info: https://www.moypiano.com/resources/#archives ---------------------- multipart/mixed attachment A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
