Good luck. A few remaining volatile molecules will
probably draw them from far and wide. So mouse-proof
the room, too. ( And mice don't usually get into
grands, so it must be a college-educated mouse! )

If it was just an old upright I would have
recommending trashing it and finding another.

The organic smells of the horse glue and leather
attracts them. And the hideability within. They are
also a minor source of protein in lean months. And
maybe it was a music lover?
