Something that might sound pretty crummy in a non-ET tuning...

I was practicing the enchanting "Doll Dance" by 
Nacio Herb Brown today ( a big hit in 1926! )and it
immediately occured to me that the chromatic
procession of a very complex chord in the opening bars
would sound quite different and, I suspect, quite
icky, without ET.
    I'm all for HT's, when performing what was
composed in them. And ET for what was composed in it.
