Of course the market place is bonkers. Remember the time when half the
population of Europe were driving around in Beetles, under the illusion that
it was the best car in the world. It was probably the most lethal car in the
world, besides being slow, thirsty, noisy and by no means not the cheapest
to purchase. It's a case, perhaps, of keeping up with the Jones's next door;
If they have a Steinway, then we must have one as well! Does not mean to say
that it is the wisest choice though. The brand name has a lot to do with it
as well; because the name is familiar, people feel comfortable with their
choice; if Joe Bloggs down the road has a Steinway then it must be okay.

Such is life.
