earplugs

I was walking through the Mayo Clinic here the other day, and stopped by the
audiology department to see what they recommend.  They have 20db musician's
earplugs that reduce frequencies equally across the spectrum.  There are
three or four rounded sections on a small flexible supporting shaft.  These
run about $25.  I didn't get any, so I can't tell you the brand.  They do
the custom molded plugs for $100, that have the changeable filters.
