(1) Hearing protection from the first day you're tuning for pay (it 
would probably be overkill to wear plugs while you're *learning* to 
tune), or attending a rock concert.
(2) The importance of good ergonomics ( too many cases of tendonitis, 
rotator cuff problems, back trouble, etc in our trade).

Or at least those are my first thoughts.
