I have seen it in a late = 19th or early 20th century Petrof grand. It works very well and eliminates the annoying sound made by the = one-piece felt moderator when it also hits strings that don't bleong to = the note played. You don't have to cout throuh the whole piece of felt, just on the lower = part where the hammers strike it.
