Roger, dodger Mick (and all who replied). Will be checking everything
suggested.

Yes, the new Stecks have a beautifully designed damper system. Very, very
nice.

I still don't understand the horizontal/vertical felt cut difference, i.e.,
when to use which for what and why.

Circular Exacto blade? Like a wicked little pizza cutter?
