softening wippen cushions

Hi Phil,
              Just got back from sunny LA, very pleasant trip.

Steaming the wippen cushion's, will work very well, remember to dry iron 
after steaming, to set the felt.  It last about as long as new felt, and 
restores the geometry of the cushion. I routinely do this before a major 
reg. it saves quite a bit on hammer line regulation.
