I built one once, years back. Mine was pretty big, ugly, and inefficient,
but it did work (after a fashion). I think I still have what's left of it
around here somewhere.

Chase it down with a Google search. There's a fair amount of information on
the WWW about these neat little suckers. Try "Hilsch" tube.
