Water damage

Hi Brian. Got your bags packed??? Ohhhhhh, I wish I were going. You lucky
dog, you. Just a few thoughts on your water damage question.

I think Wim is likely right on with his response. But of course you need to
go look at the piano and state some specifics about it. Normally, we are
taught "innocent until proven guilty". The water damage situation may well
be one where we want to reverse this relationship. During the inspection,
assume "guilty until proven innocent". Consider glue joints. Assume they are
going to be trashed, so look carfully for the slightest deterioration of any
glue joint - and then pretend it is 1994 and you are a republican - go
Clintonian - assume "where there is smoke, there is fire". In a case such as
this, such a bad attitude is likely the right attitude! Get it?
