Hi Richard, Thanks for your post.....I did do a bit of an archive search, but did it for "simplex actions" so will try again following your suggestions. Generally in Uk we find these little blighters turn up in odd places like Challens, Chappells and other reasonable ¬ so reasonable makes...but always in "Baby Grands" i.e. about 4 foot length, with short fat tubby sounding bass strings.........but the public go crazy for a grand that will actually fit in the house! And they find it easy to convince themselves of the "sweet tone"...(false treble strings, not too loud in the bass). So.......I'm endeavouring to do the best I can with them.........and the pianos!
