Please note there may be a virus circulating or about to
circulate on this list. I received a message with the subject
reading "A FUN SITE". The sender was not "pianotech" but rather
it was cc'd to a number of people, a few names of which I
recognized on pianotech. There are others I don't recognize.
The message suggests to visit the following web page: (NOTE:
DON'T GO THERE!!)

http://www.starroute.com/clock.htm

A stupid clock thing pops up with no explanation. In curiosity I
deleted "clock.htm" from the address to go to the parent page.
My McAfee virus shield immediately popped up and warned that a
known dangerous Java applets would download if I were to
continue. Of course I had already continued since I went to the
other page first. I ran the virus scan through all files on my
system and it detected nothing. Then I when to "find" and
searched all files on the system that had been added or modified
during the day. I discovered several unknown dangerous looking
files that had just been added. I deleted them immediately.
Hopefully I have avoided something terrible. Spread the word,
this could be something nasty!!

In closing if there is someone on this list that may have
purposely sent this message please explain.
