I'm a slow tuner. I take 2 hours. Therefore, my hourly rate is 1/2 of my
tuning fee. In this area, with so much competition, I couldn't charge an
hourly rate equal to my tuning rate.

There are some high-level tuners who can charge high fees and find plenty of
work.

For expample, the going fee for tuning is $80 -$85. I know tuners who charge
$125. One guy charges as much as $140. These guys have good reputations and
have been around 20-30 yrs or more.
