56 Steinway console

The 40" console has a MSRP of around 11, 000 dollars, if my memory serves me 
well.  If the cabinet and inside is in the good condition you describe it I 
would think that a price around 40 % would be reasonable. This would put it 
at aprox 4,400 dollars. If the right party were found that wanted 'only' a 
S&S Console I would say 5,500/6,500 would be a reasonable figure.  Anyway 
thats how I would price it here in Jacksonville Florida.  Prices do vary 
quite a lot from section to section though, the only constant being the MSRP.

  These were not the best example of S&S pianos, they were/are a pain to 
service and tune, although with patience they were at least acceptable.
