And not to take issue with your suggestion for a tool, it is a good one and I'm sure it works well. However, we all need to have tools which will perform many functions and that are small so that they can be included in our general tool kit. A medium sized pair of Vice-Grip pliers, with no modification, has always worked for me as the best tool for the job of becket squeezing. These pliers, of course, can perform many other functions so they are a regular part of my general tool kit and were also part of my stringing tools.
