new hammer flanges

I have replaced butts and flanges where the flange is just a little
shorter than the originals.  In this case I have put a strip of veneer
under the bottom of the flanges for a tight fit.   In one case it
required two thicknesses.

ALso new flanges will get loose from shrinkage and expansion of the new
wood.
