The easiest way to get a drop action out of piano is to remove the keys first,
then the action. It will help if you can tie the stickers to the hammer rail.
You can use a bungy cord, or a stick the length of the action. To get the
action back in, lay newspaper over the balance rail pins, so that the stickers
do not get stuck in between the pins.  Good Luck
