>>> Ron Torrella <torrella@ux1.cso.uiuc.edu> 03/03/95 10:14am >>> . For some reason, somebody is driven to move those pianos from one room to the next. Has anyone else dealt with this kind of "soft vandalism?" <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Ron, we have one piano that was frequently moved (also a P22), and very difficult to move back because it is a steep sloped lecture room with narrow aisles. I had physical plant people set a large eye hook into the concrete floor (tile covered). I chain the piano to the eyehook with a covered bicycle chain (no scratches). The custodians have the padlock key. No unauthorized moves for a few years now. Jack jack_reeves@byu.edu
