Tradition and cheap are good reasons for not buying any power tool.
Yet the real question in the discussion has not been addressed.
You are tuning the last octave and a half and someone opens the door
to the outside and this cold wet gust of wind enters and totals you tuning.
My experience is that a concert grand will respond to this situation
IMMEDIATELY, within seconds, yet may take two hours to retrun to previous
condition. WHAT DO YOU DO NOW?
Ranting, raving and pulling remaining hair has not effect upon stage
crew members loading in a full orchestra.
      What do you do now?
