Wow, sorry guys! This was totally my fault on this. I made a major typo and completely left out the size 16 1/2 wire, and further screwed up the second scale. YIKES! Michael, I hope you David's post in time! Thanks for checking that out with Steinway, David, and for seeing my error! For the record, here are the corrected (and triple checked) plain wire scales from the Travis book: No serial number: 13 .031 6 unisons 13 1/2 .032 4 unisons 14 .033 4 unisons 14 1/2 .034 5 unisons 15 .035 6 unisons 15 1/2 .036 6 unisons 16 .037 5 unisons 16 1/2 .038 6 unisons 17 .039 12 unisons 18 .041 8 unisons Serial number 276638: 13 .031 6 unisons 13 1/2 .032 4 unisons 14 .033 4 unisons 14 1/2 .034 3 unisons 15 .035 8 unisons 15 1/2 .036 6 unisons 16 .037 5 unisons 16 1/2 .038 6 unisons 17 .039 12 unisons 18 .041 8 unisons The one I have here is serial # 207116 and lays out with the second scale.
