Filemaker saves automatically, which is nice, but sometimes not as you say. I think your backup is the best answer. If you want to revert, you can go find what you had before. Or maybe there is another way to revert that I haven¹t discovered. I¹m certainly no expert in FileMaker, having only used it for a couple years now, but I like most of what I see.
