....and I also didn't finish reading your earlier post before I  
posted this reply to some excerpts from it.  My bad.  Yes, that makes  
sense.  It would seem plausible to me, though, that abrasion would  
also be a contributing factor IF wire does break sooner on a harder  
capo.  The combination of the two...
