Yes, there are blocks at the end of the keyboards that are part of the
action.  There's quite a lot of space actually.  The actions we have
here have a 41.2" key span as opposed to the 48" (older) to 48-3/8"
(newer) key span of Steinways.

Just had a thought. Do oversize cheek blocks come with the action to
take
up that extra room? :-) There is some, isn't there?
